Ethosha NP

Having extended the truck-safari already once, I did it a second time. This time it was Namibia calling. Have heard and seen so much about this country that really liked to see it. More so since I heard that it would be hard to get to the interesting sites on public transport – being on truck was also ideal.

Ethosha Natonal Park would be the last such park we would visit. Although we saw already a lot of wildlife (except Liz and Zoe how joined us in Harare) and were a bit ‘wildlifed-out’, Ethosha was astonishing. To see the animals with the white plain in the background who go on for ever is something we had not seen before.

Cheetah Park

Leaving Etosha we went to cheetah conservation farm where cheetah are rescued from farmland where they are in danger of being shot.

Desert

The desert his red sand dunes is probably one of the best known attraction of Namibia. After having spent some days in Swakopmund, also we went to Sossusvlei to watch the sunrise on duen 45.
